Construction of Cryogenic Oxygen Generator Plant

Scope of Work :
BOMS recently constructed, commissioned, and handed over a dual-purpose oxygen generating plant at Teesta III HEP in the state of Sikkim. The plant has a capacity of 80 m3/h (80 cubic meters per hour) and is designed to serve both industrial and medical purposes. It is capable of supporting the state-of-the-art "Hard Coating Facility" of this mega hydel project in Sikkim, while also producing medical oxygen according to specific requirements.
- Construction of Oxygen Plant of 40m long, 15m wide and 14m high with M25 concrete for footing of 24 nos. of column, RCC Periphery Walls. M15 concrete were used for flooring of Filling Area and Machine Area.
- Erection of columns for the plant were completed using ISMB 250 and ISMB 200.
Slope stabilization works, Rockfall protection system at areas above Dam spillway system and Powerhouse area of 1200 MW Teesta-III Hydro Electric Power Project.

Scope of Work :
- Deployment of skilled manpower, special equipment for transport and drilling works.
- Installation of Rockfall barriers at the top of spillway tunnels 1 & 2 and Chute spillway.
- Installation of Rock fall barriers at Power house MAT/CAT entry tunnels.
- Complete stabilization measures like wire netting, grouting, anchoring etc.
Underwater repairing of RBFT maintenance gate sill beam.

Scope of Work :
- The work was carried out without depleting the reservoir level and without affecting the power generation.
- Expert underwater welders were engaged and the sill beam of the flushing tunnel was repaired.
- Specialized grouts used for underwater concreting of Sill beam. l The work was successfully completed to the satisfaction of the client.
Deployment of Specialized Excavation Equipment for excavation at critical locations 400kV Teesta-III – Kishanganj Transmission Line

Scope of Work :
- Excavation of foundation and concreting works in very difficult hilly terrain under severe space constraints by deploying specialized spider excavator
Setting up of Workshop for HVOF Coating of underwater components comprising of Acoustic Chambers, Compressor Plant, Chiller Plant, Liquid Oxygen, Nitrogen Gas, Kerosene Storage, Dust Extraction Plant and Robotic arm.

Weld Repair, De-Coating and full stress relieving of Runners, nozzles and other underwater parts of Pelton turbines of 1200 MW Teesta-III Hydro Electric Power Project , Sikkim.

Scope of Work :
- Assessment of erosions of the runner bucket and grinding of runner eroded buckets to a smooth surface suitable for weld deposit.
- De-coating of the runners and NDT testing of buckets including ground surface for ensuring free from any defects.
- Weld repair of the eroded surface of the buckets as per approved Welding Procedure System (WPS) and balancing of the runners.
